Indian Wedding Color Board - Pantone's Rose Quartz

I'm so excited to start sharing my favorite wedding fashions and decor options in this year's hottest colors. I've been making color boards inspired by Pantone's color forecasts for almost as long as this site has been up and running, and I have to say this year's colors are really inspirational. According to Pantone, these colors are meant to transcend and transport, breaking free of gender and cultural norms and giving a feeling of optimism and excitement - perfect for a wedding color pallet!

One of the two colors of the year (two different colors getting that honor is a style statement in and of itself) is the fresh and springy Rose Quartz. I love this color because it really reminds me of the cherry blossoms that bloom in Seattle right around the start of spring. What a great color for new beginnings and fresh starts!

What's more about rose quartz is that it's very subtle. It's almost a neutral, bluish pink which is sure to look good on just about anyone. It's feminine without being in your face girly - and with the pastel fashion trend still rolling along, it fits well with the current color schemes that are on display for both fashion and decor. So if you are looking for a color that has elements of tradition (particularly for western weddings) but is all about modern style, consider weaving a little rose quartz into your wedding day color pallet. You surely won't be disappointed.

We've also rounded up a few links to real weddings from around the web that feature this color fabulously. Go take a look if you're in love.
