Indian Wedding Inspiration - Pantone's Marsala

Hello all! We're trying out a new format for our color boards. I hope you like it. Today we're taking a look at Pantone's featured Color of the Year which, unless you've been living under a design rock, is the lovely Marsala.

Marsala is perfect for South Asian weddings in my opinion. It hails to the traditional bridal red, but also offers a modern and fresh look at an old favorite. I like to describe this particular shade as a kind of dusty neutral version of a very strong color. It's like a more sophisticated, stylish version of the classic red. It looks stunning when subtly incorporated into a stationary suite like this one by Minted or when used as the base color for a classic bridal lengha. Floral arrangements with pops of deep red also make an impressive impact.

Here's that color board for a little Marsala inspiration.
