Minted Save the Date Cards

Today I want to briefly talk about planning your invitation suite, particularly Save the Dates. Depending on the length of your engagement, you’ll want to send out Save the Date cards well in advance of the actual invitations. And considering that the average engagement in the U.S. is somewhere around 18 months, Save the Dates are really popular.

Invitations are one of the steps in planning a wedding that should be done relatively soon after the engagement, along with picking a venue and pinning down a great photographer. Online stationers such as Minted are easy to work and have some downright beautiful designs available.

Looking through their inventory of Save the Dates, I’m loving the look of the gold foil accented cards for South Asian weddings. They’re definitely eye-catching and super classy. Here’s a few of my favorites.

I’m also a big fan of how Minted really incorporates photography into the designs. Save the Dates are an awesome way to feature your engagement photos.

And if you’re looking for something simple but classic, these designs are perfect.

What I like especially about Minted is that you can customize not only the colors and paper style, but also the shape of the cards as well. Here’s the last card in a few of the different shapes that are available. So chic.

This post was written in collaboration with Minted. While I am being compensated for posting a review of their Save the Date cards, all words and opinions are genuine and my own.
